Everyone thinks you’re calm, competent, composed...

But inside? You’re running calculations, anticipating problems, bracing for something to fall apart.

Your mind never stops.
Your shoulders never drop.
Your nervous system never gets a day off.

This isn’t personality —
it’s survival mode disguised as achievement.

And it’s not your fault.
Anxiety in high-performing women often hides behind:

Overthinking
Overcommitting
Over-functioning
People-pleasing
Perfectionism

You’re not “too much.”
You’re tired.
And therapy can help you feel steady again.

You've been holding your breath inside your own life.
Therapy is where you finally get to exhale.

What Anxiety Looks Like in Women Who Lead

Irritability that comes out of nowhere

Difficulty sleeping even when you're exhausted

A tight chest or racing heart that shows up uninvited

Difficulty relaxing — even on vacation, even on weekends

Feeling constantly "on alert" without knowing why

Trouble making decisions that used to feel easy
Feeling disconnected from joy

Your body has been sending signals for a while.
Therapy helps you finally hear them — and respond differently.

Anxiety isn't just a thought problem. It lives in the body — in the breath you hold, the muscles you brace, the sleep you can't find.

In our work together I use narrative therapy to examine the stories underneath the anxiety. Stories about what happens if you stop being on top of everything. About what it means to need help. About whether you're allowed to take up space without earning it first.

Those stories didn't come from nowhere — and they can be changed.

Where the anxiety has deeper roots in the nervous system, I bring in EMDR. Not to talk about the past endlessly, but to help your body release what it's been bracing against.

This is root-cause work, not symptom management. The goal isn't to help you cope better with a life that's making you anxious — it's to help you build one that doesn't

How I work with anxiety

Because you need a therapist who can match your depth, your pace, and your complexity.

Why women choose to work with me

Women come to me when they're tired of being the strong one. When they want emotional regulation, not platitudes. When their anxiety spikes around success, relationships, or identity and they can't figure out why.

I work with a small, selective caseload — which means you're not a number in a roster. You're a woman I've made a real commitment to.

You don't need to shrink to get better.
You need support that meets you where you already are.

Your mind deserves somewhere to land.
